Our film is a captivating documentary that delves into the remarkable journey of the Pavlo Virsky Ukrainian National Folk Dance Ensemble and its profound contribution to preserving and promoting Ukrainian culture on a global stage. Using archival footage, performances and interviews with current and former members, the documentary traces the origins of the Ensemble back to its founder, visionary choreographer Pavlo Virsky, while illustrating the parallels between past and present, as a new generation of dancers audition despite the current war.
